QMI Agency retracted a story it published early Wednesday morning that Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was arrested by Ottawa police late Tuesday night on driving-related charges. "There was no basis for the story and QMI unreservedly retracts the story in its entirety," the news agency said in a statement. "QMI regrets the error." QMI Agency quoted sources as saying Crosby was arrested late Tuesday while driving a rented Porsche. The report said the reason for the arrest was unknown but that it appeared to be "driving related." The Ottawa police duty desk told The Canadian Press, "It never happened," on Wednesday morning.
